Kenyan citizen and Rhino Ark Conservation chairman, Colin Church, will discuss one of the key biodiversity areas and essential water towers in the Abderdare Mountains. This project entailed the building of a 260 mile long electrified fence (1,260 sq. miles) that successfully resolved human/wildlife conflict in the Abderdares, while limiting further encroachment into the forest state. This has also been instrumental in shifting public sentiment in favor of conserving Kenya’s vital mountain forests.
