New York, NY (November 21st, 2011) - On Monday, November 21st, explorer, author, and photographer Jon Ortner will take us to the most sacred Hindu and Buddhist sites in Asia, starting from the highest peaks of the Himalaya, to the deepest gorge on the planet, the Kali Gandaki. Ortner will explain how the great meditative religions sprang from the sacred landscape, and will discuss the evolution of a complex sacred topography that has evolved over countless millenia, bringing you to the banks of Ganges, the monasteries of Bhutan, Myanmar's lost cities and its Golden Temples, to the great sites of Cambodia's Angkor Wat and the Kathmandu Valley.
